A Little Bit About Me

Hi! I’m Kailyn, a small-town girl who moved to the big city to pursue a career in graphic design. Over the course of my 4 years within the York/Sheridan Bachelor of Design program, I’ve taken an interest in a multitude of design disciplines, ranging from print to digital, and I am continually seeking to expand my skill set. One of the things I love most about design is getting to craft meaningful experiences and provide compelling solutions to tricky problems.

My design experience mainly consist of freelance work, assisting small business with their design assets, though I also completed a book design internship at Penguin Random House Canada during the summer of 2019. Outside of the design sphere, I can usually be found searching for new music to add to my playlist, reading fiction, or putting some words down on the page myself. You might also find me longingly staring at journals and notebooks in bookstores, or doing some bookbinding of my own in my spare time.
